APC chieftain tasks EFCC to carry out comprehensive probe of NDDC


A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bayesla State, Chief Richard Kpodoh has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to carry out a comprehensive probe of all activities and transactions of the NDDC under the former acting Managing Director, Prof Nelson Brambaifa.

Kpodoh told journalists on Thursday that even though Brambaifa has been removed, he must not be allowed to go free because of the rate of decay in the commission.

The head of South Africa’s Democratic Alliance (DA) opposition party, Mmusi Maimane has stepped down from the position. Maimane in a statement on Wednesday said he wanted to build a party that represents all South Africans, particularly black citizens of the country. Consequently, he stepped down as head of the party after four years, the 39-year-old said. The DS is still seen as the party of the white minority in spite of the leadership of Maimane, who is black.
