FG Inaugurates Interim Management Committee To Oversee NDDC Audit




Recently, President Buhari directed a comprehensive audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), covering from 2001–2019.
Following that directive the President has approved the appointment of an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to prepare for the audit. The members of this committee are:
Dr. Gbene Joi Nunieh — Acting Managing Director
Dr. Cairo Ojougboh — Acting Executive Director, Projects
Chief Ibanga Bassey Etang — Acting Executive Director, Finance and Administration.
The IMC was inauguration was carried out in Abuja on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 by HM Godswill Akpabio.
The Inauguration of the new NDDC Board Members - whose names have been sent to the National Assembly for confirmation - will be put on hold until the forensic audit exercise is completed.
The IMC will run the organization in the intervening period.

The Audu/Faleke Political Organisation in Kogi State has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as head of the party’s National Reconciliation Committee.
